Meet Your Host: Deanna

Deanna Deshea is an award-winning wildlife photographer and passionate conservationist whose evocative monochrome imagery captures the raw soul of Africa’s last wild places.

Known for her solo expeditions across the continent, Deanna uses her lens as both art and activism—illuminating the fragile beauty of threatened species while fighting against trophy hunting and captivity.

Her work, recently featured in Mother magazine, reflects a deep reverence for nature and a journey of personal transformation that began in the wake of heartbreak.

As a mother, storyteller, and seeker, Deanna invites fellow travelers to rediscover wonder and resilience through the wild landscapes that once helped her do the same.
